It is with great sadness that we at Key.Aero have learned of the passing of Major Kenneth George Mayhew at the age of 104. Kenneth made up one of the only four living knights of the very exclusive Military William Order, the highest honour of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Kenneth was the last known of the 1/Suffolk Officers who landed on D-Day. It is believed that he may well have been the last 1/Suffolk Officer from the NW Europe Campaign.
