For the photographer and enthusiast, Las Vegas has it all – especially during its high-profile events and busy convention season, as Barry Ambrose discovers.

The huge Consumer Electronics Show in early January, the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR) races and the biennial National Business Aircraft Association (NBAA) Convention are among the major events that draw business and chartered aircraft into the airports of Las Vegas – adding to the high-rollers who fly in on a Friday afternoon to gamble the weekend away before departing on Sunday.
