Orly shuttle to have glass-embedded PID

Following a successful trial, glass fabrication specialist OSG is to install its ScreeneX glass-embedded passenger information digital display in the Orlyval APM shuttle service.

The shuttle, which connects Paris' Orly Airport with the city's RER transit network, carries more than three million passengers each year. With the ScreeneX TRN 29 integrated into its windows, passengers will be able to see the information they need without having their outside view interrupted.

The ScreeneX solution ensures passengers receive up-to-date travel information as well as real-time safety alerts. According to OSG, installation is as simple as installing regular windows and/or glass. Being embedded into existing windows means there is no need for traditional mounted digital signage systems, thus saving internal space.
