Q The 1940 Aeroplane facsimile included with the August issue prompted David Buckley to seek more details about a picture on page 209. The caption reads, “the rear gunner sliding through the retractable under gun-turret to take up his position in the rear turret”. David says he can’t remember there being a ventral turret on the Vickers Wellington. Can anyone help on this?
