Qingdao Jiadong International receives hospitality revamp

The Plaza Premium Group has implemented an array of services at the hub, including VIP lounges, Aerotel and new accommodation  

Airport hospitality service provider, Plaza Premium Group has implemented its first land-to-air experience at Qingdao Jiaodong International. 

Working in collaboration with Qingdao International Airport Group and Capital Airport VIP Service Management, the firm has constructed a three-storey premium building at the arrival area and a three-plaza luxury lounge at departures.

Within the new facilities, customers can expect dining, lounging, meet and greet and accommodation services.

Within the three-level VIP building, different amenities are offered on each floor. The first storey offers 11 premium rooms with designated areas for private events. This also includes personal check-in, concierge, dinging, and fast track for those departing from the domestic terminal.  

The second boasts the company’s Plaza Premium Lounge, with services such as meeting rooms, private dining, an aerobar and massages.  

Aerotel Qingdao hotel is situated on the third floor, located five minutes away from the nearest security checkpoint. The facility is made up of 54 rooms with three suite types.  

The new services began operating on August 12, with the group also recently opening the first high-speed railway lounges at Changsha.
