CEREMONIES HELD AT the air bases at Šiauliai, Lithuania and Ämari, Estonia on May 2 marked the latest handover of responsibilities for NATO’s Baltic Air Policing (BAP) mission and the start of the 50th rotation. The lead mission at Šiauliai was passed from the Polish Air Force to a detachment of JAS 39Cs from the Hungarian Air Force’s 1st Tactical Fighter Squadron ‘Puma’.
