In May 2017, Drs Bob Shaw and Dennis Williams, respectively chair and curator of Defford Airfield Heritage Group (DAHG), visited Boscombe Down Aviation Collection (BDAC) at Wiltshire’s Old Sarum airfield. Restoration was on their minds.
