Royal Air A Class of its Own

Dirk Grothe is reacquainted with a former staple of inter-European routes as he flies with new start-up Royal Air Philippines.

In anticipation of receiving its first Bombardier CS100s and CS300s (now Airbus A220s) in 2016, Swiss International Air Lines began to retire its long-serving British Aerospace Avro RJ100 fleet from 2014. The move allowed Royal Air Philippines (RW/RYL) to acquire three examples and begin scheduled services to domestic destinations.
