BREAKING: Headaches for British Airways as Russia bans UK aircraft from its airspace

Moscow has banned British airlines and registered aircraft from landing at the country’s airports or operating in Russian airspace. This is a retaliatory move, following the confirmation yesterday (February 24) that Aeroflot – Russia’s national carrier – would not be allowed to operate to or from the United Kingdom until further notice.
