KAPO SP Gorbunova Ilyushin Il-62M RA-86586 (c/n 3357947) flew for the first time in 1996, and three years later it was the last of the type to be delivered to an airline. It was more recently flown by a Kazak firm but was subsequently seen stored in Iran.

Despite carrying Don Avia titles Antonov An-12B 3X-GDR (c/n 9346409) was flown by Galex Guinée Air and was en route from Aqaba, Jordan to Constantine, Algeria.

Sayakhat Airlines Tupolev Tu-154M UN-85853 (c/n 86A-728) was also visiting from Astana. Engine covers have been fitted, suggesting it was staying for slightly longer than the norm.

Also spending time away from Kazakhstan was Yuzhnaya Aircompany Tupolev Tu-154B2 UN-85478 (c/n 81A478). It was dumped on the grass at Astana by 2015.
