Mistral Warbirds’ Canadair-built CL-13B Sabre Mk.6, F-AYSB, has performed at a number of airshows since arriving in Europe earlier this year. The first such event was at BA115 Orange-Caritat in France held over May 24 to 25. The owner, display pilot Frédérick Akary, has based the jet, now the only airworthy Sabre in Europe, at Avignon- Caumont in the south of France. The former Luftwaffe machine has also appeared at La Ferté Alais and the Paris Air Show in June and is expected to attend the Paris- Villaroche Air Legend show (September 7-8) and Jersey International Air Display (September 12).
