Samedan Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator Released

Orbx has announced LSZS Samedan Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.

Situated in the heart of the Engadin valley, Samedan is a popular ski resort in the Swiss Alps. It is especially busy during the winter months when it is visited by general aviation traffic and private corporate jets.

The airport offers exciting and challenging approaches and frequently experiences strong winds, low visibility and turbulence. Even experienced pilots will find landing at the 5,600ft airport tough, especially with the weather effects in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Developed by Andrea Hegi, the package is a high-definition rendition of Samedan Airport with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects and ultra-high-definition textures.

It blends perfectly with the high-altitude, scenic mountains with glaciers, lakes and rivers, which combined make for stunning visual approaches. The villages of Samedan and St. Moritz are also modelled with custom hotels and churches.

The package is available on OrbxDirect for AUD$17.99 (approx. £9.96).

Customers with the P3D/FSX version of LSZS in their Orbx Direct account are eligible for a 20% discount.
