Saudi F-15 Eagles exercise with Hellenic Air Force

The Royal Saudi Air Force deployed six F-15 fighters to Souda Air Base on the Greek island of Crete to take part in Falcon Eye-3, a joint exercise with the Hellenic Air Force. George Karavantos reports.

The bilateral live exercise Falcon Eye-3 took place between the armed forces of Greece and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at 115 Combat Wing in Souda Air Base, Crete, last autumn.

The exercise was part of the wider network of international activities with friendly and allied countries that had been planned, co-ordinated, and carried out by the Hellenic National Defense General Staff, with the aim of deepening the co-operation of the two countries, through the execution of demanding scenarios that maximize the training benefit and increase the combat capability of participants and their interoperability.
