Singapore in Guam

The Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) deployed its first fighter training detachment to Andersen Air Force Base, Guam in April. Six Boeing F-15SG Strike Eagles and 100 personnel from 142 Squadron trained with the 44th Fighter Squadron from Kadena Air Base, Japan between April 10 and May 11, 2017, on the RSAF’s first training deployment to Guam. The deployment was first revealed during the Singapore Prime Minister’s visit to Washington DC last August in a statement that highlighted a potential training detachment on the Pacific Island.
