Orbx has announced 85U Soldiers Bar for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available.
Soldiers Bar is a USFS (United States Forest Service) airstrip in Big Creek Canyon known for camping and fishing. Although it's considered a recreational airstrip, the challenges it presents are only for the most seasoned pilots due to a 4-degree upslope, an uneven surface and a dogleg on the runway.
Developed by Milo Taylor, the package from Orbx recreates the area with enhanced terrain and textures, more than 40 custom assets and extensive vegetation. The outdoor experience can also be further enhanced with //42 Campout Utility.
Soldier Bar Airstrip is available on OrbxDirect for AUD $9.99 (approx £5.52).
