Virgin Atlantic has made much of its association with the Boeing 787-9. Never one to shy away from the limelight, the British carrier pulled out all the stops to welcome its first Dreamliner into service. The cutting-edge jet played host to the innovative #Flightdecks gig – during which multi-awardwinning and platinum-selling fourpiece Rudimental and North London duo Gorgon City performed for an exclusive audience en route from Gatwick to Atlanta – just days after its October 2014 delivery (see Airliner World, January 2015).
