Even to a Brit, brought up on seeing this Sydney Camm creation in the various shipshape iterations of Fleet Air Arm schemes, it looks superb, the two-tone desert camouflage lending an even more aggressive air to those familiar lines. And, without the so-called ‘Baghdad Furies’, the warbird world would be much the poorer. All the better, therefore, to see one painted properly back in European skies.
