FlightSim Studio has announced the Tecnam P2006T MKII for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) is now available.
The simulation is modelled on a real Tecnam P2006T, sporting a detailed 3D model with several real-world high-definition liveries and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects throughout. It also features accurate flight dynamics, a custom sound set based on recordings of a real aircraft and comprehensive online documentation.
The aircraft also sports native MSFS features such as icing visualisation and rain effects. Various animations include doors, cockpit switches, dynamic passenger and cargo loads depending on aircraft weight and interactive walkaround items such as chocks, tie-down, control surfaces, pitot covers, propeller, etc. Simulated paper checklists are also included for added realism.
Systems simulation includes a customised version of the G1000 NXI by Working Title, a STEC-55X autopilot and a tablet for setting aircraft configuration options, connecting ground power, weight & balance settings and loading different panel states. A moving map with flight planning visualisation can also be displayed on the EFB.
The aircraft includes two realism modes.
- Functional circuit breakers with integrated failure simulation
- Emergency gear deployment
- Walkaround required to operate the aircraft
- Custom modelling of the Rotax engine
- Persistent saving of aircraft state.
- Default MSFS engine and startup model
- Disabled circuit breakers.
The Tecnam is available on the Aerosoft online store for €35.24.
