An eye-catching pair of glass panels have been added to the memorial site of the Advanced Landing Ground at Newchurch, Kent.
Each depicts wartime scenes from the former airfield featuring Hawker Tempests landing and taking off, with pilots and personnel resting on the grass.
It enables the viewer to understand how the base would have looked during wartime. With thanks to David Hadaway.
