Grumman F7F-3 Tigercat BuNo 80483/N6178C Bad Kitty has been sold by John Sessions’ Historic Flight Foundation (HFF) at Seattle, Washington to Houston-based Comanche Maverick Air, and was ferried down to Chino, California during January. A North American F-86 Sabre will, reportedly, soon be joining the HFF fleet.
Tigercat 80483 will be fondly remembered by British enthusiasts, having been operated by Plane Sailing Air Displays from Duxford between 1988-93.
Tigercat N6178C is now owned by Comanche Maverick Air, having spent the past 12 years with the Historic Flight Foundation in Seattle.
