Touch Down for Flying Lab

NASA’s sole Douglas DC-8 flying laboratory, N817NA (c/n 46082) arrived at Ramstein Airbase, Germany on January 14 for fuel and engine technology trials. The aircraft is set to fly a series of sorties with the German Aerospace Centre’s (DLR) advanced technology aircraft (ATRA) Airbus A320.
