Coming soon: Meet the man whose life has been a love affair with the iconic Cold War bomber
Here at Key.Aero, we love to bring you exclusive interviews with interesting people. That’s why when we got the chance to meet and talk to one of the RAF’s Avro Vulcan pilots, it was a chance that couldn’t be missed.
John LeBrun was born in Montreal in March 1938. His distinguished career led him to fly alongside royals, as well as to become a flight instructor and author. His contribution to the Cold War saw him pilot one of the world’s most iconic nuclear deterrent bombers: the Avro Vulcan.
In this series, Key.Aero met with John at Newark Air Museum to talk to him about not only the revered delta bomber, but also how his life has intertwined with the aircraft. Expect inside stories from a real Vulcan pilot as he walks us around the aircraft, pointing out various facts known only to those who worked closely with the 20th century bomber.
