Transavia in 2023 – a year of big change

It’s shaping up to be a significant year for Transavia and Transavia France, as the long-time Boeing 737 operators introduce their first Airbus A320neo Family jets, as Richard Schuurman reports from The Netherlands

If you ask the average person on the street to name a handful of European low-cost airlines, they probably won’t mention Transavia or Transavia France. Indeed, the two carriers – which are part of Air France-KLM – are rather different from Ryanair, Wizz Air or easyJet in terms of size, network, and business models.
