Software developer, RCStudio has released Airport Trento-Mattarello – LIDT for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Trento-Mattarello is a popular destination for private aircraft as well as being a base for light cargo operations and medical flights. It is also home to flying schools and a helicopter base that performs various tasks such as first aid, avalanche rescue and fire protection.
The package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is an accurate recreation of the airport with all buildings modelled with 4K PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures and interior modelling for the tower.
Special effects include objects that react to time and weather, animated hangar door
Hospital heliport and water droplets on the tower windows when raining. Other highlights include custom photo scenery of the airport area and night lighting.
It features custom approach and runway lights including PAPI lights for Runway 18 for helicopter approaches. SID STAR procedures for helicopters also part of the package. Note: A future update will include special operations for helicopters when implemented in the core simulator.
Airport Trento-Mattarello Airport is available on the Aerosoft website for €12.59 (approx. £11).
