Turbo Commander takes flight

Carenado has released the 690B TURBO COMMANDER for FSX and Prepar3D.

The aircraft comes with six HD liveries (4096 x 4096) and a template for creating custom paint schemes, while on the flight deck features include an authentic autopilot, realistic night lights and a Carenado GNS530.

This product is also compatible with Flight1’s GTN 750 or Reality XP GNS530 (only for FSX), which are sold separately.

Visual details include volumetric props, reflective surfaces and authentic 690B Turbo Commander sounds. Over-torque failure simulation for the engines is also modelled.

A custom panel can be used for controlling window transparency, instrument reflections and static elements such as wheel chocks and a cold & dark start option. The animated pilots can also be toggled on or off. Special audio/visual effects have been applied to the take-off and landing run; plus custom brake sounds have also been created.

Documentation consists of emergency and normal procedures, performance tables, 690B Premier IA reference tables and an Avidyne Multifunction Display PDF.

The package is compatible with FSX, FSX: Steam Edition and Prepar3D v2, v3 v4.
