A senior Ukrainian official has praised Turkey's contribution in providing support to the country’s armed forces and called for additional drones and missiles from Western allies, as Kyiv continues to battle against Russian forces following the February 24 invasion.
Speaking during a February 27 press conference, conducted online from an unknown location, Dmytro Kuleba, Ukraine Minister for Foreign Affairs, said that he ‘appreciates’ the support given by Turkey, which, unlike others, began long before the Russian invasion of his country.

'We appreciate the support. Turkey was working with us on defence before others joined this cause,’ Kuleba told the virtual media briefing.
