Ukraine steps up Storm Shadow attacks

As was expected, the series of Ukrainian special operations against Russian high-value targets based in Russian-occupied Crimea that began in August continued in September.

Early in the morning of September 13, the port city of Sevastopol – home of Russian Navy’s Black Sea Fleet (BSF) – was attacked by several Storm Shadow/SCALP-EG air-launched cruise missiles (ALCMs), deployed from Ukrainian Air Force (UkrAF) Su-24M Fencer-D bombers.
