The Caribbean island of Saba in the Lesser Antilles is officially home to the world’s shortest runway regularly used by commercial flights. Perched atop a 60ft (18m) cliff, Runway 12/30 measures an eye-watering 1,312ft (400m), which is almost the total length of the plateau.
