Unique Luscombe makes debut

Star of the EAA Chapter 431 Pietenpol/Hatz fly-in at Brodhead, Wisconsin on 18-21 July was Sonoma, California-based Ron Price’s recently completed Luscombe 4 Sprite, NC1337. It is the sole survivor from six examples built, the prototype of this five-cylinder, 90hp Warner Junior-powered machine having first flown in October 1937.
