US Army to receive four additional UH-60Ms

The US Army has awarded Sikorsky a US$53.8m contract modification, which covers the production and delivery of four more UH-60M Black Hawk medium-lift utility helicopters for the service.

The awarding of this contract modification was announced by the US Department of Defense (DoD) on February 26. Under the terms of the deal, Sikorsky will manufacture and deliver four more UH-60Ms to the US Army, which will be used to conduct utility and tactical troop transport operations.

Work to deliver the four helicopters under this contract will be performed at Sikorsky’s facility in Stratford, Connecticut, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 2022. The US Army’s Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama is leading the contracting activity.
