A total of 11 Douglas C-47 and DC-3 aircraft from the D-Day Squadron appeared at July’s EAA AirVenture show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin to promote the organisation’s mass crossing of the Atlantic to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings next year.
