The modification was issued on April 13, with the company providing work for the US Air Force (USAF), US Navy and non-US Department of Defense (DoD) participants, according to an announcement from the department. Work will be carried out in Fort Worth, Texas, and Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, UK, and is expected to be completed by April 2023.

This follows a contract awarded to Lockheed Martin in November last year, worth US$184.5m, which sought to establish an organic depot repair capability for F-35s produced under LRIP Lot 11.
