The US Air Force’s (USAF) new air-to-air missile is mostly a secret. We don’t know what it looks like, what its capabilities are or how close it is to entering service. But the AIM-260 JATM, as little as we know about it, is central to the Air Force’s controversial plan to cut the F-22 Raptor stealth fighter fleet by 33 airframes next year.
