Uzbekistan Launches Munich Route

UZBEKISTAN AIRWAYS will offer two new weekly services from Munich to Tashkent/Islam Karimov for the 2020 summer season. The flights will depart from the airline’s hub on Wednesdays and Sundays at 0715hrs and arrive in Munich at 1015hrs.

Return services will leave the German facility at 1230hrs and arrive in Uzbekistan capital at 2135hrs.

Utkur Alimov, general manager of Uzbekistan Airways in Frankfurt/Main said: “Our flights to Frankfurt are in great demand and we are sure that the new flight to Munich will also be in demand among German tourists.

The opening of a new destination will undoubtedly contribute to the strengthening of the Uzbek-German co-operation and serve the development of the tourism potential of our countries.”

The new flights will also offer passengers access to a wide range of connecting services to various destinations in the region as well as Southeast Asia.

The flag carrier has rostered Boeing 757 and Airbus A320neo aircraft for the route. The 757 is configured to accommodate 22 business class and 168 economy passengers while the A320neo offers seating for 12 business and 138 economy travellers. (Airbus)
