A classic aircraft for X-Plane 11

If you spend much time around small general aviation airports, you often come across classic aircraft that seem to have a special aura about them. In my observations the Twin Comanche is one such aircraft. On a ramp crowded with single engine Cessnas and Pipers, the Twin Comanche is a standout with its long nose and svelte engine nacelles. While not as large or beefy as other twins in its class, the Twin Comanche’s lines are pleasing to the eye and it makes up in performance what might be lacking in hauling capacity. Fitted with optional tip tanks, the Twin Comanche can get a family of four from Los Angeles to New York with just a single fuel stop. Bringing the Twin Comanche to X-Plane 11, vFlyteAir has created a gorgeous add-on based on an actual 1964 aircraft that it spent time with in person to properly capture its spirit.
