Jeppeson2001 has announced the Victoria Falls Scenery package for Microsoft Flight Simulator is out now.
The landscape around Victoria Falls/Zambezi River gorge has been terraformed and sculpted, including animated rapids along a 23-mile stretch of the Batoka Gorge on the Zambezi River along with wildlife, which can also be spotted in the area.
Victoria Falls has been recreated with animated sounds and mist effects, along with details such as riverboats, hotels and Victoria Falls Bridge with an animated bungee jumper. Various animations include a microlight, speedboat, raft and cable car.
This scenery pack features dirt strips and heliports, which are not included in the default version of Microsoft Flight Simulator. This includes four bush strips, six heliports with multiple starting locations and 30 landable remote helipads along the Zambezi River.
Each heliport has been recreated in detail including Elephant Hills Heliport with animated hangar doors and a helicopter mover. Baobab Camp Airstrip, a newly built strip to accommodate United Air Charter Cessna Caravans, has been brought to life with custom ground textures and an open-sided hangar.
The package is available on simMarket for €16.80 (£14.90).
