Vienna’s geographic position between Eastern and Western Europe makes it a trading and meeting point of worldwide stature, while its rich history and culture have long been a tourist draw. The latest performance figures of Vienna’s airport and the introduction of new routes show that the ‘City of Dreams’ is maintaining its appeal in a competitive market. Aviation News caught up with Julian Jäger, the joint chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Vienna International Airport (VIE), right after the announcement of yet more impressive statistics.
