Once in a lifetime prizes are up for grabs, while the proceeds are set to go to charity
Gatwick-based Virgin Atlantic is set to host a virtual quiz for aviation enthusiasts on March 25. Run by the airline’s crew, the proceeds will be donated to UK hunger and poverty charity The Trussell Trust.
The winner is set to be able to claim two Upper Class return flights to anywhere on the carrier’s network including Barbados, Tel Aviv - or the operator’s newest destination St Vincent and the Grenadines, which is set to launch in June 2021.
The once in a lifetime prize will include Virgin Atlantic’s award-winning Upper Class experience with flatbeds and social space where customers can enjoy a cocktail at 35,000ft.
Other prizes – which could include some unique pieces of Virgin Atlantic memorabilia – will also be up for grabs.
Although airline fans may think they have the upper hand, Virgin says the quiz will suit all with some quick-fire rounds and a “fastest finger first” point scoring system.
Themes to swot up on include Virgin Atlantic’s Upper Class and Premium offerings, summer sun destinations, cargo conundrums and airline history.
Tickets are now available to purchase via Eventbrite with a set entry fee of £5, donated to the Trussell Trust charity.
The quiz is set to take place at 7pm on March 25 via Zoom and will last one hour. The evening will be hosted by friendly faces of Virgin Atlantic, including the airline’s much-loved crew.
