Many people have gone on to great things from being an RAF apprentice at Halton.

Given the quality of training received by the ‘Halton Brats’, that’s no wonder. In the case of Wally Epton, it was the way in to a career as an RAF pilot, a very rewarding life in the civilian flying world and, amongst many other things, the chairmanship of the Historic Aircraft Association.
