With America still recording record numbers of COVID-19 infections and emerging from a controversial presidential election, its citizens have had a lot on their minds recently. With international flights still severely restricted and domestic travel in the doldrums, Thanksgiving and Christmas notwithstanding, many airports have used the downtime to forge ahead with building projects and refurbishment programmes.
