Back in 2017 and long before the COVID-19 pandemic had dealt a cruel blow to the Jumbo, Airliner World spoke to Mark Feuerstein who was then Boeing’s chief pilot, 747 Programs, about his role in the development of the -8 variant. Feuerstein retired from the company in 2021.
