I bet that's exactly what they did - took one look at it and thought "Oh b*gg*r" :eek: (or words to that effect)

-Not the first attack on a police helicopter. The Surrey one was attached by a gang armed with axes about a month ago.
Seems a certain section of society don't like them passing over their yards photographing their activities and have decided taking out the helicopter is a viable option.
I wouldn't be surprised to see more similar attacks unless security is increased at all bases police operate from.:mad:
