Classic - thanks Kev.:D
At the moment I'm reading 'The Spies of Warsaw' by Alan Furst, whose novels are centred around clandestine goings-on in the pre-and-early war period.

I've got a few books on the go at the moment.
Teach yourself to fly by Squadron leader Nigel Tangye. Its a good read and shows how things have changed since world war 2 regarding to flying training.
I'm also reading The naked pilot by David Beaty. Another good read.
Also reading through ATPL Air Law = Best book to read if you cant sleep at night as you'll have no problems after reading that for 5mins. :D

Wasn't that made into a movie with Gabriel Byrne?
Also, Romania was an ally of Nazi Germany in 1941 and not occupied by them.

Err, not sure!
Ah yes, what I should have said was its set in Romania and mentions Poland which of course was occupied by the Nazis.
