Another bad blow for Concorde. And for Richard Branson too come to think of it.

The sooner the type is withdrawn from service the better. It was a magnificent aircraft in its day, but its day has now passed and it is time for its C of A to be withdrawn, so when it has had its final BA flight no other operator can fly it.

BOAA and BOAB were withdrawn a while back I think? I dont think BA will bother to do anything about putting BOAC back in the skys befroe the concordes time is up.

How very convenient for BA! Am I being a bit too cynical? Moi?

The Barbados flights have now stopped, and with only 2 flights a day now, 4 aircraft is still too much. I could never understand why they needed 5 aircraft back into service anyway.

OK well she has been fixed now. It was just a a standard fuel tank problem, of which BA has about 5 of each month all across the fleet.

Looked to me like an attempt to nip in the bud all the PR Branson is milking without a cat in hells chance of succeeding.
