-Probably something to do with their transfer to Germania who purchased 17 of them from US Airways at auction.

-Thanks, it's just odd for anything other than business traffic to come into farnborough outside of the airshow.

-I quite like the F100 to fly on, flew with bmi a couple of years ago, sit near the front and its a fantastic aircraft very quiet and smooth, near the back is very loud and horrible though.

-Never had the pleasure of a NG Fokker, but I flew AMS-MME with KLM on a F28 Fellowship in the 1980's. Very quiet (front of plane) and smooth.

-AE F100
I used to work on the F100 at Air Europe.
It was a really nice aircraft to fly on, and passengers liked it a lot. Funnily I don't remember it being noisy at the back.
I also worked on the BAC 1-11 at Dan Air. Now that's noisy!

-I live at Farnborough and this is my first post on this board after Reading it for a while.
There are now 3 F100's, G-MANH is is Holland for fitting out,G-MABH will follow it when it returns and N856US arrived on Tursday with one more to follow. They are going to be operated by ARAVCO but for who I don't know. I do know one is for one induvigal and another for his wife and family(good idea!) and two to be leased out on an ad hoc basis.
Don't tell the locals about these, they still complain about BBJ'S!

-I flew flight deck on the F100's smaller brother the F70 to Dusseldorf. Very nice a/c. Though the flight deck wasnt really designed for 3 of us!
I dont recall excess noise at the rear of the F70. Just the standard, expected whine.

Can anyone shed any light on a US Airways Fokker 100 that I saw parked up at Farnborough this morning.
It had some ground crew in it when I arrived, so I am assuming it had only just come in.
I can't find any info on it at all, and I couldn't get a reg or a pic.
