there were some mounts on ebay that I could not afford sadly....I shall have a go at knocking one out this week.....hoping the spit cockpit will be busy this (70th anniv) BoB year.....happy new year and have fun!

Here are couple pics of the de icer tank from Mk1 X4773. It is a welded aluminium box, without the inspection hatch. I'll send you full size images down the wire.

Hi chaps and many thanx to all who helped. Here is a photo of the tank...I have not put the markings on yet....will try to remember to put a piccie of it in place.....next is the deice selector, pipework and mounting on frame 10 for the pump! Note Merlin's nose!!

Nice Bits..

Now that is a stunning piece of work..
Valve bracket is here...Still working out the valve itself though.With all the radiuses etc it is a pain in ProD to get right without the program chucking a narnie.Any chance of some measurements of the fittings for the tank itself??Unless you would like to see a grown man beg:D
