-At Teesside we had an An-124!

Pictures and reports can be seen in the above link. I saw this plane fly overhead and it was one hell of a sight for someone only used to seeing the odd F100 and A320!

-AN-124 at STN, aswell as an AN-22 earlier in the year. RAF VC-10s also. I personally only saw the 124 though. Saw a TU-154 there aswell at the weekend.

-At ANR (Antwerp -Deurne) last week we had the Phoenix Ilyushin Il-18 - better than the normal VLM Fokker 50's!
A big special last Sunday at Brussels was a BA 747 - nothing for British spotters to get excited about but a big deal here in Belgium.

-Southampton has had an Il76 bringing in equipment for the pollution control centre and an AN12 - possibly a charter from Ford as there is a factory closeby.

-Hi,
The most unusual aircraft type at MAN would be the Tu-204 freighter that came in April on a rare visit from Manston.

-Here at Stansted we get a few unusual visitors. As LN Strike Eagle mentioned, and as was also displayed in Airliner World a couple of months ago, we have recently had the An-22. An-124's are also fairly common here, but not as common as they used to be (they take too long on the runway for an expanding airport like Stansted). Quite often we have the Dubai Air Wing 747 SP's in and so far this year, I have seen 5 Saudi aircraft there: 2 MD-11's, 2 SP's and a Hercules.

-At BHX I suppose the most unusual regular is a Turkmenistan 757. Most unusual for me lately was a CASA CN235 of the Irish Air Corps.
If we can include sights we saw on the MAN meet it would have to be...... Fizz's Grandma. :D

-Strike Eagle, yes the Balkan Tu-154 is a regular at Stansted. I have never seen it arrive, but all the times I have seen it, it has been departing at around 5:30. I have seen it about 4 times over the summer, very interesting to watch. I'm not sure about whether it will be operating in the winter though.

What's the most unusual aircraft type that visit's your local airport ? A one off, a once a week regular ? What is it ?
At GLA this summer there's been a short spell of European 747's doing the charters, Also the Balkan Tu-154 is not a common sight.
How about your place ?
