-The only extra on the US DVD is a trailer.
The film was made by Spitfire Productions and financed and distributed by United Artists.
UA is now part of MGM. MGM distributes BoB in the US and almost certainly has the UK rights. The best way to make them release it would be to create a demand. If enough people did...

Another thread mentions the aircraft flying into Marshalls. They did that to clear customs.

-There has been talk of releasing a special version in time for xmas with extras including the documentary of the making of the film.

-I remember seeing the documentary on the making of the film in the hall at my junior school, pre July 1972. The next playtime, the entire playground was full of kids running around arms outstreched going 'taka-taka-taka........'
I sometimes wonder if this was what got me into aviation?

Does anyone know if the Battle of Britain film will be released on Reg 2 in the UK .Can you get any of the out takes on DVD as well,i know you can buy it on Reg 1 at the moment http://www.playusa.com/playusa.asp?page=search&adudisc=y
It would've been nice to see it for the Sept Battle of Britain day,oh well:(
