Hello all,

I got my Airliner World October edition through the post this morning and the one thing that caught my eye was an advertisement for "Airline 5" the airline simulation game.

It would seem that Key Publishing have started to sell the product for £21.00 plus £1.50 P&P. I'm considering buying it, simply because it is easier for me to order it from them than it is to order it from Australia (?) or wherever it comes from.

I've heard it spoken about before and people regularly talk about updates for it. How often do upgrades come out for the software, how much are they and are they necessary?

thanks for any help in advance.

Hi,

£21.00 plus £1.50 P&P, thats a bargain! Your questions should be answered on the Airline 5 website http://www.airlinesimulation.com/.

Hi,

LBARULES, is it only a mail order or can you buy it online from the Key Aviation Shop?

Thanks :)

Airline %

Already got it as soon as it became available from Key Publishing, a word of warning though - it comes on a BLUE CD, be extra carefull as these are very delicate. I suggest making a backup as soon as you recieve it.

As for the sim, I'm well into it. Started in 1978 and I'm already a milionaire. I think it's very complex and very challenging.

Think like an Airline, You'll have an Airline. Keep an eye on the seasons and decide your market place.

If you buy make sure that you get the Version 5.1. 5.0 is no longer supported. However the version specially designed for Win XP and 2000 called 6.0 is just around the corner. (6-8 weeks from now).

Anyway I still use airline 5.0 and it is worth buying.
