Two with burns

BBC Radio news 2pm reports the houses the 'plane hit were empty, but that the two persons aboard the plane have been taken to hospital with 70% and 90% burns respectively :-(.

Heres hoping they have swift recoveries.

I think the Mirror was the first with the story. Hope the injuries are not as serious as suggested.

Ravenair Traumahawk. Casualties with 70% and 60% burns reported elsewhere.

Serious enough for me to be glad I invariably wear a nomex flight suit and leather gloves, even in a docile little trainer aircraft.

70% burns survivable 90% burns chances poor - hope reports are incorrect

Wish them both a safe recovery in hospital

Rotten luck to have this engine failure, hope they recover.

Moggy, I wear just the same, the suit gives me lots of pockets for my camera bits and pieces as a bonus.

Aye one dead and the last I heard the other one is still critical. A sad day indeed.
